Put Your Resolutions into Your Environment

As we go through the change of rhythms from Holiday excitement to the beginning of a new year, it's a good idea to take a look around you at your environment and see if it reflects what and who you want to be, to yourself and to the world.
As I looked around my house and went through closets and cabinets, I realized that I was putting up with a lot of things in 2004 that I didn’t need to. Over-crowded spaces made it frustrating to find things on a regular basis and created blocked, choppy energy that affected the flow of my life.
What are your aspirations for the new year? Are they goals in business? Do they have to do with a better love life or family life? Do you want to be more organized, creating a clear path for new ideas and self cultivation? What about the flow of money? All of these things can be blocked by excess stuff or clutter build-up.
Start by cleaning out the small spaces in your home or office first. Don't take on too big of an area at once and leave yourself plenty of time to go through things.
